Grana Padano is a classic Italian hard type of cheese with a long-standing heritage and worldwide recognition. While it shares similarities with Parmigiano Reggiano, it offers a more delicate texture and a milder, well-balanced flavor that sets it apart.
It is produced exclusively in selected regions of Italy using fresh, semi-skimmed cow’s milk from cows fed on hay and grasses. Aged for a minimum of 9 months, the cheese gradually develops natural crystalline textures and a richer, more defined taste as the maturation period extends.
